David Archuleta: American Idol

Hey, American Idol always makes sure it can capitalize on the winners’ successes as much as possible, so those album debuts are sure to be coming out soon.  Be on the lookout for David Archuleta’s first album and David Cook’s first album at a music store near you soon!

It’s round three, the last round of the American Idol Finale, and David’s going to go with the song that first blew everyone away, Imagine by John Lennon.  A pretty strong choice.  The judges basically fawn all over him!  See why:

So, it’s round 3, and both David’s get to choose their own song.  David Cook’s chosen a new song (Archuleta is singing “Imagine” again).  Kinda risky, let’s see what he does with “The World I Know” by Collective Soul…(Simon seemed not too keen…):

Round 2 continues, and David picks “In This Moment”.  It’s nice, but it’s a bit slow…  What do the judges think?  According to Simon, “Round 2 goes to David Archuleta.”  Nice!  Check out his performance:

It’s round 2, and David Cook needs something big to go up against David Archuleta.  He pulls out the electric guitar on this one, and rocks it pretty hard.  All judges loved it except, guess who, Simon. Check it out:
